Privacy Policy
Last updated September 2, 2026
This policy covers this website, myhomebasesolutions.com. It does not cover the MyHomeBase mobile or web application, which handles account data and is governed separately.
What you give us
There are two places on this site where you can enter personal information: the founding-pro application form on the for pros page, and the homeowner waitlist form on the homepage, which appears when we are accepting signups. Nothing else on this site collects anything from you.
The waitlist form asks for your email address, your ZIP code, and optionally which service you are interested in. We use the ZIP code to decide which areas to onboard pros in first, and to know when your area has enough of them. We do not ask for your name or your phone number, and there is nowhere to enter them.
If you submit the application form, you send us:
- your business name and the city or area you work in
- your name, email address, and phone number
- how you would prefer we contact you
- the trades you offer
- optionally, your years in business, your crew size, and anything you write in the notes field
The form also sends the address of the page or site that linked you to us, if your browser provides one, and a timestamp of when you opened the form. That timestamp and a hidden decoy field exist only to separate real applicants from automated submissions. Neither tells us anything about you.
What we record automatically
This site is served by our hosting provider, which, like essentially all web hosts, records standard server request logs. These may include your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and a timestamp. We use them to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
When you submit either form, our server also uses your IP address to count recent submissions and refuse floods of them. That count is held in memory, is not written to a database by this website, and disappears within the hour.
This site also runs Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views and a small number of named events: opening a question in the FAQ, clicking a call to action, reaching a section of the page, and completing either form. It is our hosting provider’s own analytics rather than a third party’s, and according to Vercel it works without third-party cookies, identifying a visit by a hash derived from the request that is discarded after 24 hours. It is not used to track you across other websites.
What those events never contain is anything you typed. No email address, no ZIP code, no business name, no phone number, and nothing from a notes field is attached to any analytics event. An event records which part of the page it happened on and whether the submission succeeded, and nothing else.
Where your application goes
Your browser never talks to our database. The form posts to this website’s own server, which checks it and forwards it to the MyHomeBase application backend, where it is stored so a real person can review it.
The waitlist form works the same way: your browser posts to this website’s own server, which checks it and forwards it on. Until the homeowner service opens, that means we hold an email address and a ZIP code and nothing is done with them beyond deciding where to onboard pros.
Three companies process data on our behalf:
- Vercel hosts this website, keeps the server logs described above, and provides the Web Analytics described above.
- Supabase hosts the database that stores submitted applications.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used here. The font files are downloaded when we build the site and are served from our own domain, so visiting this site does not send a request to Google.
We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not give it to other service providers as a sales lead. That last one is the business we are deliberately not in.
No payment ever happens on this website. There is nothing here to buy and no card details are entered, stored, or processed by this site. Payments, and the payment processor that handles them, exist only inside the MyHomeBase application, which is governed by its own policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your application while we are considering it, and, if you join MyHomeBase, for as long as you have an account with us. If we do not move forward, we keep it so we can answer you if you ask why and so we can recognize a repeat application. You can ask us to delete it at any point, including before we have made a decision, and we will.
A waitlist signup is kept until the service opens in your area or you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. Ask and it is gone; you do not need a reason.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own. It runs no advertising pixels, no session-recording tools, and no third-party trackers, and it does not follow you to other websites. The one measurement tool it does run is our host’s own Web Analytics, described under “What we record automatically” above.
Nothing you type into either form is stored in your browser after you leave the page.
Your choices
Email us at pros@myhomebasesolutions.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You do not need an account or a legal reason to ask.
Children
This site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through it.
Changes
If we add a form, a waitlist, analytics, or any other feature that collects information, we will update this policy before that feature goes live and change the date above.
